Melamine polyphosphate (MPP-T3)

Introduction

Melamine polyphosphate (MPP) is an environmentally friendly halogen-free flame retardant with a wide range of applications.  Our company MPP-T5 is a kind of high efficiency nitrogen and phosphorus expansion flame retardant prepared by special end sealing process, with high thermal stability, 1% thermal weight loss decomposition temperature ≥350℃.  The product also has the advantages of low water solubility and excellent flame retardant performance, mainly used in the flame retardant of polyOLEFin, glass fiber reinforced nylon, polyurethane and fiber fabrics.

Explain:

The initial thermal decomposition temperature of MPP in air is 330℃, so the processing temperature of the twin screw can be increased according to the specific situation to strengthen the dispersion and improve the plasticizing effect.  It is necessary to maintain a certain vacuum degree in the process of twin-screw extrusion.
