Halogen-free expansion flame retardant TC100
Introduction
TC100 is a halogen-free expansion flame retardant specially designed by our company for polyolefin with phosphorus and nitrogen as the main flame retardant elements. Mainly through the mechanism of carbon formation, expansion flame retardant effect. Not subject to RoHS and REACH; It has the characteristics of high flame retardant efficiency, good thermal stability, light aging resistance and low smoke non-toxic etc. TC100 flame retardant PP, adding 25 parts of flame retardant to reach UL 94 V-0(1.6mm).

Processing matters needing attention :
(1) The initial thermal decomposition temperature of TC100 in the air is about 280℃, so the processing temperature of the twin screw can be adjusted up according to the specific situation to achieve the effect of strengthening dispersion and improving plasticizing. A certain vacuum degree must be kept in the process of twin-screw extrusion.
(2) When TC100 is used in PP, it is not recommended to use screw combination with strong shear.
(3) TC100 can be customized according to customer requirements, which is conducive to dispersion and avoid smoke.
